Clubs

Clubs in Bar Chess Manager: the directory, club details and managing your own club.

Clubs

A club is the basic unit of Bar Chess Manager. A club is created and assigned an administrator first; players, teams, tournaments and seasons are then created within it. Each game also belongs to a club through its tournament.

Each club’s data is separate. Visitors can view it, but only that club’s administrator can change it. The open club defines the club context: whose sections, data and actions you see. See Club context.

Club directory

Open Clubs in the general service menu. It lists active clubs, with each card showing the logo, name, city, country, tournament count and player count.

Search by club name, city or country, or use the city filter. If a city has no clubs yet, the service offers to create its first community.

Click a club card to enter its context. Currently, this opens the club’s tournament list.

Club sections

Club sections are public; no sign-in is required.

  • Players — club player cards and statistics. Browse everyone who has played at the club and their performance. A player’s rating is shared across the system: rated results at another club update the same rating. It is not frozen at the club they left. Game counts, tournament counts and other statistics are calculated separately for each club.
  • Tournaments — upcoming, ongoing and completed events. Each card links to a tournament’s public page.
  • Seasons — combined tournament results and club season standings.
  • Games — created within tournaments and shown on their Pairings page. There is no separate club-wide game list yet.

In development

A dedicated club homepage with a description, basic details and overall statistics will be added later as the entry point to club sections.

When you enter a club, the top menu displays its logo, name and sections, plus a Service menu linking back to general platform pages. See Club context.

Club administrator

When a club is created, the service administrator assigns its club administrator. They work only with their club’s data: creating players, teams, tournaments and seasons, generating pairings and recording results. See Club administrator.

Important

Open registration and self-service club creation are not available yet. New clubs are added by the service administrator.
